Shari Jeziorski-Maharoof L.Ac., M.Om., Dipl. O.M. – Edina Clinic
Shari is a licensed acupuncturist through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice and is nationally board certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Shari holds a Masters degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the American Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Augsburg College with extensive training in Psychology. She is trained in acupuncture, herbal medicine and shiatsu acupressure massage.
Shari‘s mission is to transform health by addressing and optimizing it through a patient centered approach and incorporating lifestyle medicine. She places importance on lifestyle factors such as nutrition and physical activity in the prevention and treatment of disorders. She is dedicated and passionate in providing patients with effective, natural health care options, health education and self care techniques.
She treats a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. Commonly seen disorders include pain syndromes, women’s health, digestive complaints, depression, anxiety and infertility.
Before studying acupuncture Shari worked as an elementary teacher in the Minneapolis public school district. She also enjoys teaching and practicing dance, meditation and qigong and finds it is an excellent way to maintain a balanced and healthy lifestyle.
