Kim Doyle , L.Ac., M.Om., Dipl.Ac. – Edina Clinic
Hello, I’m Kim, I am trained in acupuncture and herbal medicine with a Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine. I graduated Cum Laude from Northwestern Health Sciences University. In addition to being certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) I am also licensed by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice. I have practiced in traditional clinics, hospital in patient, Courage Kenny in-patient and out-patient as well as community style clinics.
I also have a B.A. in Business Administration and Systems Management. Prior to becoming a health professional I was a computer programmer in the corporate world. I have also spent over a decade working overseas as a humanitarian aid worker in Afghanistan and Pakistan. These life experiences helped me to see how stress and trauma affect our health, first hand as well as with other aid workers and refugees.
I know what it’s like to want a new lease on health and life. My personal healing journey and training further my understanding on integrative medicine to support the whole self – mind, body, spirit.
I enjoy treating the incredibly wide variety of conditions that acupuncture can help with but find special interest in oncology support, neuropathy, sciatica, back and spinal pain, trauma, bells palsy, stroke recovery emotional imbalances such as anxiety or depression, addiction, insomnia, smoking cessation, menopausal issues, joint replacement issues and pain management.
I am passionate about social justice issues and am committed to my faith community. I find pleasure and refreshment in doing almost anything outdoors!…….hanging in a hammock reading, biking, kayaking, tent camping and walking our golden doodle dog to name a few. Yoga and meditation also uplift my whole self.
