Ingrid Bloom, L.Ac., M.Om., Dipl.Ac. – St. Paul Clinic
Ingrid has been passionate about practicing Asian healing arts for over 15 years. She recieved her Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental medicine at American Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Roseville, Mn. She is a licensed acupuncturist through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice, and is board certified in acupuncture by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She is trained in acupuncture and herbal medicine, and previous to acupuncture practiced acupressure and shiatsu massage. Ingrid provides an attuned and compassionate presence to help patients on their healing path, and is committed to providing relief from symptoms and suffering. By bringing more understanding of how stress, diet, exercise and lifestyle can impact health and well-being, she can help facilitate the changes that need to happen to support the healing process. Ingrid can help with many conditions, and specializes in acute and chronic pain, digestive issues, women’s heath, mental health and addiction.
Ingrid believes the spirit needs to nourished, as well as the body, and in her spare time loves spending time out of doors and in nature, enjoying camping, hiking, biking and exploring. She also likes to be creative and enjoys watercoloring and playing piano. She has a wonderful extended family and adores her many nieces and nephews, as well as her loveable dog. She is a regular practitioner of meditation, and practices mind-body movement such as yoga and qi gong.
